And that's a good thing - energy bars provide energy, are a rich source of many nutrients and a really tasty and healthy snack. They are also increasingly used by representatives of other sports, as well as people who simply need a boost of energy in the world. They also have another great advantage - unlike chemicals, they consist of natural ingredients and you can easily prepare them at home.
How to make an energy bar?
Energy bars, like most products available in stores. you can make it yourself - a good recipe is enough. Of course, it all depends on the products used and the required resistance to external temperature - chilled bars will "melt" much faster on a hot day. It is worth noting, however, that some products will lose some of their nutritional properties after baking. Recipe for a sweet energy bar
The sweet energy bars are of course the most pleasant for the palate. To make them, you need the following ingredients:
- 2 cups of nuts - hazelnuts and / or earthen
- 4 cups of oatmeal
- 4 fresh bananas
- 2 cups of dried dates -
- 1 glass
- 1 cup of honey
- 1 cup of peanut butter -
Individual ingredients should be crushed or chopped one by one and mixed. Finally, add honey and peanut butter to them. If you like, you can add cocoa, cinnamon or other spices to the whole. If the mass is too "stiff" a little water can be added to it. Spread the prepared mass on a baking tray and bake it for about 30 minutes at 150 degrees. After baking, cut into smaller pieces - bars.
Recipe for a dry energy bar without baking
We associate the word "candy bar" with sweet products. It is worth noting, however, that excellent energy bars can also be prepared in a more dry version. How? Here is the solution - you need:
- 20 dried figs -
- 1 cup of pistachios -
- ½ cup of roasted sesame seeds -
- ½ cup of healing berries -
- 4 teaspoons of spirulina -
- 1 teaspoon of agar -
As in the case of a sweet bar, here we also mix successively and, if necessary, crush the next ingredients. Spread it evenly and put it in the fridge for 3-4 hours . After cooling, we can cut ready bars from the mass.
