What is spirulina
Spirulina is a blue-green micro alga that belongs to the cyanobacteria group. It is found not only in salty seawater, but also in fresh and saltwater lakes, tropical lakes and even warm springs.
How best to consume spirulina
Add Spirulina Powder to a glass of water, shake or yogurt and mix well. Consume about 30 minutes before a meal. The recommended daily allowance for spirulina is 4 grams per day.
In order to assimilate the substances contained in spirulina better, alcohol, coffee and sweet drinks, including fruit juices, should be avoided within 30 minutes of taking it.
Proven recipe for a cocktail with spirulina: 2 bananas, 1 apple, 2 glasses of still mineral water, 1 tablespoon of spirulina. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and it's ready. Of course, the above-mentioned fruits can be replaced with others, as you wish.
Additionally, spirulina can be used as an ingredient of face and hair masks, and also as an addition to homemade ground coffee pilling, coconut oil and coarse salt. Thanks to its unique properties, it not only improves our skin, but also supports the fight against cellulite.
