Breakfast cereals

BIO breakfast cereals

In our health food store you will find a wide selection of organic quality breakfast cereals, thanks to which you can prepare any mix of your favorite muesli yourself. Our breakfast cereals are also great as an ingredient in no-bake bars, cakes, cookies, muffins, bread and desserts. Some of them can be eaten as an independent snack, and others are perfect as a replacement for traditional breadcrumbs. Our offer includes: organic oat flakes, corn flakes , coconut flakes and chips , almond , chestnut , buckwheat or millet flakes and almond granola !

How to make homemade muesli?

You don't need any special skills to make delicious homemade muesli. All you have to do is prepare your favorite ingredients and book a few minutes of free time. First, choose bio breakfast flakes from our offer or make a mix of several types of flakes. In a bowl, mix e.g. oat flakes with millet flakes and corn flakes in any proportions. Match them with any nuts and seeds. These can include chopped walnuts , almond flakes, shredded coconut, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Mix everything with your favorite sweetener, e.g. maple syrup or agave syrup and cinnamon. Then transfer the whole thing onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Put in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, mix the ingredients several times. Remove the granola from the oven, let it cool down and add your favorite dried fruits , such as dates, apricots and raisins. Mix everything well and eat with milk, vegetable drink or yogurt.

How to store homemade muesli?

Store breakfast cereals in a dry and sunny place, preferably at room temperature. A glass weck jar will work great for this, but you can also store homemade muesli for several weeks in a plastic container.

Fit breakfast cereals

Thanks to Ekogram breakfast cereals, you can decide for yourself about the caloric content of your breakfast. Most finished products and muesli-type mixes contain additional sweeteners such as sugar or glucose syrup, as well as other ingredients undesirable in a balanced diet. By preparing muesli yourself, you are sure what is on your plate. So you can omit the added sugar altogether and sweeten your oatmeal with only dried or fresh fruit. You can also use fit sugar substitutes such as xylitol, coconut sugar or date syrup.

How to make energizing oatmeal for breakfast?

Need an energy boost in the morning? In the evening, before going to bed, mix ½ cup of organic oatmeal with 1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, 1 teaspoon of cocoa , 1 teaspoon of agave syrup, 1 tablespoon of raisins and 1 cup of milk. Put in the fridge for the whole night, and in the morning add your favorite fresh fruit and a bit of organic peanut butter! Enjoy your meal!

Are corn flakes gluten free?

As a rule , corn flakes should always be gluten-free, because they are made of corn flour, which does not contain gluten. Some manufacturers, however, add barley malt or wheat flour to the flakes, making this product completely useless for people on a gluten-free diet. Our corn flakes have a clean composition and are made of 100% BIO corn from organic farming.

Breakfast cereals for children

Most store-bought breakfast cereals intended for “kids” are bathed in sugar, and the long list of ingredients on the label with mysterious-sounding names often makes you dizzy. Taking care of your child's diet, it is worth offering him a healthier and, in our opinion, also a tastier alternative to ready-made products in the form of homemade oatmeal or muesli. By choosing several types of organic breakfast cereals, bio nuts, bio seeds and bio dried fruits from our offer, you can create and discover new flavor and color combinations every day, some of which your child will surely like.
