Organic Buckwheat Flakes 500g
What are buckwheat flakes
Buckwheat flakes are made of whole, crushed buckwheat grains, thanks to which they have practically the same properties as unroasted buckwheat groats. Buckwheat flakes are included in the group of super food products, mainly due to the high content of nutrients in relation to their caloric value. They are characterized by a distinctive and mature taste.
Why is it worth to include buckwheat flakes in our daily diet
Buckwheat flakes are primarily a natural wealth of minerals necessary for our body, more precisely magnesium, iron, calcium, sulfur, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, boron and iodine. They are also a source of vitamin E and PP and B vitamins, more specifically B1 and B2.
Buckwheat flakes differ from other types of flakes primarily in their amino acid composition. They contain lysine and leucine, which affect the work of the brain. However, the protein contained in them is more valuable and easier to digest than the protein obtained from other cereals.
The beneficial properties of buckwheat flakes also result from the high content of phenolic components, including rutin.
What dishes can I use buckwheat flakes with and what is the best way to prepare them?
Boil 500 ml of water or milk. Pour about 60g of buckwheat flakes and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Buckwheat flakes can be eaten alone or mixed with other flakes. They are perfect as an addition to muesli and numerous desserts. You can also bake buckwheat bread from the flakes.
