Almond butter, but first... a few words about almonds

Why is almond paste, also known as almond butter, so popular? Humanity has appreciated the health and taste properties of almonds for millennia. Their homeland is most likely North Africa, although due to their taste, they are widespread in virtually every geographic latitude. Currently, the largest producers of almonds are Spain, Italy and Greece, and outside Europe, the USA.

The best conditions for growing organic almonds are in sunny Spain and Sicily in Italy.

Facts about almond butter

Almond butter is a variation of classic peanut butter. Almond paste contains many nutrients.

Our organic almond butter is prepared exclusively from organic Spanish almonds, roasted with the skin. It does not contain any additives, including salt, oil and sugar. It is natural and without preservatives

People who have not yet had the opportunity to use the various uses of almond butter are wondering what it can be used for. Almonds, and therefore organic almond butter, are a natural source of magnesium and iron. For this reason, it should permanently appear in our breakfast, and not only breakfast, menu. Almond butter is a natural and tasty addition to:

  • rice and cereal wafers,
  • countless desserts,

It is worth noting that a few days after opening the almond paste, a small amount of fat may accumulate on the surface. This is a completely natural phenomenon, and the fat itself comes only from almonds.
