There is a big challenge ahead of me. I want to interest you with a dish that I didn't want to try myself :) You have to take my word for it, there is no better porridge for cold mornings. Even if you don't like turmeric, you'll love this warming oatmeal.
How to prepare golden porridge?
Golden porridge is based on a paste made of turmeric, pepper and coconut oil. It is she who gives her this power.
Gently heat a tablespoon of unrefined coconut oil in a pot. Once it's melted, add a teaspoon of turmeric and lots of freshly ground pepper to it. This will give us a thick, aromatic paste. You will feel it all over the house.
The next step is the classic porridge. You can prepare it the way you like: with water, with vegetable milk or the way I do, with water with a spoonful of coconut mousse.
The next step is half a cup of oat flakes (about 75g), add to the pot, pour a glass of cold water and add a tablespoon of coconut mousse. We wait for the water to boil and reduce the power of the burner. We mix every now and then. I also add a teaspoon of xylitol to make the porridge more sweet. However, this is an optional ingredient :) After cooking for about 5 minutes, the porridge should be ready.
Put the finished porridge into a bowl and add your favorite additions.
