The best peanut oat bars (no butter or sugar)

Ingredients for approximately 9 bars:

150 g oat flakes
50 g almond flakes
20 g pumpkin seeds
50 g sunflower seeds
65 g peanuts
a pinch of salt
3 tablespoons of peanut butter
3 tablespoons of coconut oil
5 tablespoons of agave syrup

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, almonds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, chopped nuts and a pinch of salt.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the agave syrup and peanut butter. Heat over low heat until combined. Add the oil and stir. Let cool slightly.
  3. Add the egg to the liquid ingredients and mix.
  4. Pour the honey-nut mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly with a spoon.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a cake tin lined with baking paper and press down well.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes at 180 degrees, checking the color of our bars - they should be golden on top.
  7. Remove from the loaf pan and let cool. Then, using a sharp knife, cut into bars.
  8. Everything is ready, we have healthy, homemade oat bars that can be stored in a cool place for up to several days.
