Oatmeal cookies are a quick and easy recipe. You can enjoy them for a second breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a snack on the go. Today I'll show you the simplest recipe for a basic version, which you can then customize to your liking. See for yourself how easy it is!
No matter the season, there are days when we don't feel like cooking. In those cases, it's best to turn to simple, quick, and tried-and-true recipes. One of them is oatmeal cookies.
Ingredients for oatmeal cookies
It's hard to find easier cookies! Their base is banana, and the entire recipe consists of just three ingredients:
- 2 bananas
- 160 grams of oat flakes
- 60 grams of chocolate drops
If you don't have any drops, don't worry - you can easily replace them with good quality chocolate, which you can simply chop into smaller pieces with a knife.
Mass
- We start by mashing the banana. I throw two bananas into a large bowl. You don't need a blender for this recipe; simply mash the bananas with a fork.
- Once the banana is ready, I add 150 grams of oat flakes – I use organic oat flakes from our store.
- Then I mix the mixture and when the banana is well mixed with the oatmeal, I add the chocolate drops.

If you like this oatmeal cookie recipe, feel free to experiment and add a little:
You can also replace the chocolate drops with chopped nuts or almonds.
Our mixture is ready. Now all you need to do is wait about 20 minutes for the oats to absorb some of the moisture from the banana, and then you can form and bake the cookies. In the meantime, turn on the oven and set it to 180 degrees Celsius.
Forming and baking cookies
We got nine cookies from the mixture. We shaped them by scooping a spoonful of the mixture into our hands and pressing them onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- There will be an episode featuring oatmeal soon. I'm very curious about what kind of oatmeal you eat. Who knows, maybe your oatmeal will be featured in one of the upcoming episodes?
Once the oven is preheated, bake the cookies for about 13-14 minutes, and you'll soon see how beautiful they'll look. As you can see, no oil is needed; they come off the parchment paper very easily.
Finally, wait for them to cool and it's time to test! Enjoy!
