Organic pecan nuts
Pecan nuts come from North America. They are considered to be one of the noblest varieties of nuts. Related to the well-known walnut. Pecan nuts reached Europe as early as the 16th century thanks to Spanish explorers. They are also grown in Australia and South Africa.
Pecan nuts are about 5 cm long. The taste is softer and sweeter than walnuts. Without their characteristic bitterness.
Raw, roasted, as a side dish
Organic pecans are best served raw as a snack between meals. We can also roast them in a pan with a small amount of agave syrup and, for example, chilli. Pecan nuts are primarily widely used in the kitchen. They are a delicious addition to baked cakes and cookies, fruit cakes, bars and ice cream, as well as bread and rolls.
