What is organic pistachio paste?

It's the dream product for every pistachio fan in the best possible version, without any additives. 100% organic pistachios in the composition. Saying there are only organic pistachios in the composition, is that perhaps out of place?

The paste has a very creamy consistency. It's easy to spread on your favorite accompaniment.

How does it taste? I warn you, it's not a sweet product. The paste has a delicately dry taste. Similar to hazelnut paste, it's not sweet. I like it this way, but I prefer to let you know.

Details can be boring, but it's worth reading more about this before you eat anything.

It's the same product. The name "peanut butter" is a colloquial term for nut paste. Other names like cream and mousse are used interchangeably. According to regulations, the term "butter" is reserved for dairy products, so you won't find it on the label. We also use the name "paste" to describe multi-ingredient recipes that include, for example, coconut pulp or dates in addition to nuts.

This is a completely natural phenomenon and the best proof that the paste does not contain stabilizers or hydrogenated fats. The oil layer protects the contents of the jar and helps preserve the product's qualities for longer. Do not pour it out – simply stir the paste vigorously with a spoon to restore it to a smooth, creamy consistency.

Ideally, at room temperature, in a closed cupboard or drawer, away from sources of heat and light – then the paste will maintain a fluid, creamy consistency. You can keep it in the refrigerator, but it will become harder and more solid. Use a clean, dry spoon for scooping.

The simplest way is with a spoon straight from the jar or on a slice of bread. It also works well in oatmeal and millet porridge, as a topping for pancakes, waffles, and griddle cakes, in smoothies and shakes, in sauces and dips, in baked goods, and as an ingredient in energy bars and homemade power balls.

Our 100% nut butters contain only nuts and nothing else. We do not add sugar, salt, palm oil, emulsifiers, or stabilizers. In multi-ingredient recipes, sweetness comes from natural ingredients such as dates or agave nectar. The full list of ingredients can always be found on the label and in the product description.

This is most often the result of low-temperature storage. Take the jar out of the fridge 30–60 minutes before use and stir the contents thoroughly. You can also transfer a portion to a bowl and gently heat it – the paste will immediately return to a liquid form.

The nuts used to produce our nut butters come exclusively from certified organic farms, subject to strict and regular controls. Organic farming means refraining from synthetic pesticides and artificial fertilizers, and controlling the entire supply chain – from plantation to glass jar.

In four steps. First, we select the nuts, choosing only fresh, firm ones. Then, we roast them in our own roaster – this stage brings out the depth of flavor and aroma, and also determines the creamy consistency. The cooled nuts are ground into a smooth paste, which we then pour into glass jars.

Yes. They are made exclusively from plant-based ingredients – without milk, honey, or animal fats.

Nut butters with no added sugar or salt are a good choice for the whole family. However, remember that nuts and sesame are allergens, and the thick consistency can be difficult for the youngest to swallow – for small children, it is worth mixing the butter into oatmeal or yogurt and consulting a pediatrician beforehand.
