Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a plant that many of us consider to be ordinary thistle. Often eye-catching with beautiful, purple flowers, but its health properties usually remain unknown. It's time to change it, because this plant is a real phenomenon.

The beneficial effects of milk thistle were known over 2,000 years ago. Milk thistle comes from the Mediterranean, from where it has spread throughout Europe. In Poland, it is cultivated for medicinal purposes on a large scale, but so far the knowledge of how to consume milk thistle has not been common and has been limited to homeopaths and bioenergotherapists.
