What is green lentils?

How to cook green lentils?
Rinse the lentil grains thoroughly under running water. It does not require soaking. Add 1 cup of lentils to 2 cups of boiling water. Cook for approx. 45 minutes over low heat or until optimum softness is obtained. At the end of cooking, you can add a little salt and pepper.
It can also be used as an addition to soups, stews, various salads, casseroles, and vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Green lentils are best stored in a tightly closed container, in a dry place.
