Our corn starch is obtained from the endosperm of corn grains from certified organic farming.
Corn starch is a great thickening agent for soups, sauces, stews, puddings, creams or jellies. It is also widely used in the production of baked goods and corn syrup.
Corn starch is naturally gluten-free, odorless and flavorless , allowing you to refine the consistency of your favorite recipe without affecting the taste.
Did you know that corn starch has up to twice the thickening power of wheat flour ? One tablespoon of cornstarch equals two tablespoons of flour, so if you want to thicken a soup or sauce, you can use half as much.
Remember! Cornstarch may clump when mixed with hot liquids. If you want to get the perfect consistency of your dish and avoid clumping, first mix the starch with the same amount of cold water to make a slurry, which you can then add to soup or sauce.
Corn starch is a gluten-free and vegan product, so it can be used by people with celiac disease and vegans.

How to make chocolate pudding?
Prepare the ingredients:
- 2 glasses of milk
- 1 yolk
- 3 tablespoons 100% BIO - Organic Cocoa
- 5 tablespoons of BIO Corn Starch - Organic
- 4 tablespoons of BIO Cane Sugar - Organic
- 1/3 teaspoon BIO Vanilla - Ground - Bourbon
Boil 1.5 cups of milk in a saucepan with sugar and vanilla. Mix the remaining 0.5 cup with cornstarch and egg yolk, then add to the boiling milk. Reduce the burner power and stir intensively until the pudding thickens. Pour the finished dessert into bowls. Serve hot or cold.
