What is red rice
Unpolished, medium-grain rice with a characteristic red shell. Like black rice, it is more sticky than other varieties. A common dietary component in Thailand and the Philippines.
Although it was known in antiquity, knowledge about its beneficial properties has been practically forgotten over the years. It was rediscovered only thanks to Indian yogis who consider it a food conducive to both health and spiritual development.
