What is red rice
Unpolished, medium-grain rice with a characteristic red shell. Like black rice, it is more sticky than other varieties. A common dietary component in Thailand and the Philippines.
Although it was known in antiquity, knowledge about its beneficial properties has been practically forgotten over the years. It was rediscovered only thanks to Indian yogis who consider it a food conducive to both health and spiritual development.
Cultivated not only in Asia, but also in Europe, and more specifically in Italy.
Red rice is minimally processed to preserve more of the natural fiber and to maintain the vitamin and mineral content of the original grain.
Why Use Red Rice
Among experts, red rice is valued primarily for its unique taste and health-promoting properties.
