What is cumin?
When the body of the pharaoh Tutankhamen was placed in the tomb - the pyramid, over 1300 years BC, the chamber with the layette, which was to be used by the ruler during his stay in the afterlife, was also put in a basket of cumin, i.e. Roman cumin. It was as precious as gold in those days - even temple taxes were paid with it. Currently, cumin is said not to be found in the wild. This species is available only in crops. The kumin we offer comes from one of them - carried out in the ecological system.
How to use organic cumin?
Do not confuse cumin with cumin, because they are two different species with similar properties, but different aromas and flavors. Kumin is bitter and pungent. It adds spiciness to dishes - regardless of whether you add it to sweet or savory dishes. It is a perfect seasoning for cheese, tomato sauces and marinade in which the meat is soaked before smoking. You can also season it with cabbage, liqueurs and wine.
