Moringa recently appeared in our store, so we decided to devote some attention to it and convince even the most skeptical of this product. Ladies and gentlemen: here's everything you need to know about the beneficial properties of moringa.

What is Moringa?

Moringa, a tree native to India, has become a source of numerous products used not only in cooking but also in cosmetics, medicine, and industry. While virtually unknown in our country, it has been a staple in the daily diet for thousands of years in the foothills of the Himalayas. Virtually all parts of the moringa tree are used: the leaves are made into salads, the roots (resembling our native horseradish) are used as a spice, and the fruit is eaten like beans. Moringa juice diluted with water has disinfectant properties and is even used to disinfect wounds.

Moringa – what vitamins can you find in this product?

Nutritionists argue that this plant is worth exploring. Why? It turns out that it contains many times more iron, protein, potassium, and vitamin A than spinach, eggs, bananas, yogurt, and carrots, which are considered the richest in these nutrients. Its consumption is recommended not only for numerous ailments (malnutrition, vitamin deficiencies, difficulty concentrating, anemia, headaches, hypertension), but also for everyday use. Moringa perfectly supplements the daily diet with essential nutrients.

How to use Moringa?

The easiest way to take moringa is to use powdered moringa leaves. This form is very convenient and can be used as an addition to various dishes: cottage cheese, yogurt, soups, or even a detox smoothie. It can also be consumed without a meal – just 1 or 2 teaspoons daily, taken before a meal, is enough to fully benefit from this plant's beneficial effects.

Anyone who wants to strengthen themselves can also reach for hemp protein .

These products are ideal for baking and provide essential nutrients for proper bodily function. They are not only delicious, but above all, easy and safe to use (unlike artificial dietary supplements).

What can you prepare with Moringa?

A refreshing drink

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of Moringa powder
  • 500 ml of orange juice
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 150 ml of water

Preparation:

  1. Boil water, add Moringa leaves, set aside to steep for 3 minutes.
  2. Pour through a strainer, cheesecloth, or coffee filter. Chill in the refrigerator.
  3. Add lemon and orange juice.
  4. Serve with a slice of lemon and a few ice cubes. You can enhance the flavor with mint leaves and a pinch of ginger .

Organic Ginger - Ground - Organic - 50g

Detoxifying green drink

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of green salad and spinach leaves
  • 200 g cucumbers
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ apple
  • 1 tablespoon of Moringa powder
  • to taste pepper , salt , chili, curry , cinnamon , honey, basil.

Preparation:

  1. Chop lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, and apples into larger pieces.
  2. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  3. Place all ingredients in a blender, add selected spices and blend.
  4. Add some water and mix again.
  5. Serve immediately.

 

Organic Moringa Oleifera - Organic - Ground Leaves - 100g

Potato soup

Ingredients:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • ½ bunch of vegetables
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of sweet cream
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered Moringa
  • nutmeg
  • pepper and salt to taste
  • optionally 2 sausages

Preparation:

  1. Boil the potatoes, vegetables, and onion in a small amount of water until soft.
  2. Add cream, spices, garlic and Moringa leaves.
  3. Blend until smooth, bring to a boil, then remove the pot from the stove.
  4. Serve with warm sausage.
