It all starts with hemp seeds, which most often come from China, less often from Europe. We tested them all, Chinese, Romanian, Austrian, Dutch and Lithuanian.
We wanted local suppliers from Europe, which is why we focused on searching until we came to a Lithuanian farm that has been dealing exclusively with the cultivation and processing of hemp for years. In a nutshell, they know what they are doing!
This is the product that is the least frequent guest in my kitchen. I never had an idea because they are quite hard. However, the inspiration from the client came with help. Hemp limes, i.e. hemp salt, it is enough to delicately irrigate the seeds in a pan and beat them in a mortar with Himalayan or Kalisz salt (ratio 8: 1).
